Poi Spinning

So, about a month ago I was at an anime convention and there was a group, called Bound by fire, doing poi spinning. Now, I'm not sure if anyone has heard of this, but it can be/look pretty epic when done at shows like they did, or with... wait for it... fire poi! Anyway, I have recently gotten into this, not with fire poi of course(too dangerous for me xD), and I was wondering if any of you know about this, or are into it yourselves.

Well, that's a perfectly viable option I suppose. . I'm currently using a pair of led poi that I got for free from that group I mentioned. Although, I will probably be getting a nice new pair in a couple months or so.

Oh, silly Zitz. That would be LEAD, I was LED, as in light emitting diode.

Yes, an lead poi hit to the nuts would probably literally crack your nuts... if that's possible. Anyway, hits to the nuts are pretty frequent, at least when you're beginning, that and the face

Well...not so much as cracked but made into soup. Have you managed to do the butterfly yet?
